My best character so far (not counting the alchemist...). The race/class combination seemed intuitive -- moss growing on trees, that sort of thing. Currently trundling through Mordor, and getting by with a little help from my very large reptilian friends... ;)

And my first character to reach level 50 (again, not counting the alchemist...). Most of the way through Mordor; I'll prob'ly go take care of the Necromancer next, and maybe try the Maeglin quest.

And my first character to kill the Necromancer (still not counting the alchemist... With Dol Guldur done, I guess the Maeglin quest is next.

Silly rabbit, you did Maeglin before you did Dol Guldur… :-} Another old character updated, about midway through Angband, with all other Ring-bearers exhausted. Just got back from a FF quest for 17 Greater rotting Qs, during which I ended up having to kill seven Nazgûl—one of them twice. I swear, I dunno how I'm gonna get some of my other characters through Angband…

After five kills, Sauron finally dropped the Ring. Amusingly, back in 2.1.2, flying monsters couldn't cross trees, and Ents' grow-trees power could create trees on lava and all kinds of other terrain types. I'd probably be dead in the water about a dozen times over without that trick… Also making extensive use of the Heal-Symbiote/Life-Share combo to heal on the fly. I swear I don't know how I'm gonna get some of my characters through Angband…

This guy's been sitting way too long, so I finally pushed him through to the end. Let no one tell you that killing Morgoth via mass dragon summoning from a Master Q symbiote is a cakewalk; I nearly bought it at least once just from the chain-summoning crossfire (not to mention the earthquake effects from Grond—which I just realized I forgot to pick up and bring back with me… [slaps forehead]). And that's the very last of my v2.1.2 characters, which means I can finally retire that old binary. And maybe restart the guy in v2.3 so I can try out Boulder-throwing… ;)
