O-kaaay, kinda getting that "those whom the gods would destroy" feeling this time out: got Dethanc from Smeagol on BDw 3 and found Thorongil on BDw 5. I'll keep my fingers crossed… This is through the Downs and the first relic quest, with the second pending. Orc Cave next, or I might try Sandworm scumming again, now that I've remembered I have Precognition, which detects traps^^;

Well, after a great deal of patience and a nerve-wracking second relic quest (and a lot more running away from worms than I'm particularly comfortable admitting), I think this lady is finally tough enough that she has a chance of surviving Orc Cave. Wish me luck, folks…

Now, that's more like it. Clean sweep through Orc Cave, with only the occasional close call (notably a War troll in a greater vault). Not particularly worried about Mirkwood at this rate.

As expected, Mirkwood wasn't too bad (apart from that last princess quest, which was a little harrowing…). Not quite so sanguine about Moria. Nor about the third relic quest, which I now have pending.

Oh, right, Medusa can summon stuff… Oh well, at least Orc Town is a lot farther than I ever got any of her predecessors. She turned out to be a rather stressful combination to play, though, as a fragile melee fighter; I'm not feeling particularly motivated to restart her.
