    Took a couple tries, but I finally got this ol' girl back in the saddle. Testing continuing small tweaks to my ToME:Runecraft module. Done the Downs so far; got a relic quest pending, but no Potions of Enlightenment have turned up so far (I hate dark arena levels…).

    Blasted through Orc Cave. [Power Surge] is devastating… And now that I finally have an [Element] rune, I can cut loose with my [Cloud] and [Curtain] runespells without having to worry about leaving lava all over the floor. Also did the first relic quest, which was much easier after pushing See the Music up to level 30. ;)

    Swept Mirkwood and the second relic quest in a single sitting. I think I'm gonna have to start memorizing some higher-level runespells; even the level-6 spells aren't packing as much of a wallop as they used to…

    Midway through Moria. No more relic quests yet, annoyingly. A steady supply of stat potions has given me much-needed boosts to hit points and mana, enough that I've started using level-7 and level-8 runespells against tougher opponents.

    Finished Moria, and did two more relic quests, which gives me some hope that I'll luck up and get all five. A continuing supply of stat potions means lots more mana, enough that I'm using level-9 runespells against big monsters, and even a level-20 Element+Armageddon combination against Durin's Bane, which almost took him out in a single shot. Mordor is next, to try and get my Mimicry multiplier topped off.
