    So, lessons learned from the previous incarnation:

    • Push Magic-Device early.
    • Carry Potions of Healing, and if at all possible, a source of teleportation that can be used while blind.
    • Relic quests aren't necessarily as bad as I'd feared.

    Once more into the proverbial, then. This is through the Downs; now let's see if I can survive Orc Cave… :-}

    Orc Cave was a little hairy, but not too bad. A few nice equipment upgrades, but I'm starting to worry about getting the rest of the relic quests…

    Mirkwood wasn't so bad. Some nice kit improvements from the princess quests. Still no more relic quests, though, which is starting to worry me…

    This appears to be typical leveling up for this character by the midpoint of Moria. Also done two more relic quests, so I'm only somewhat worried about getting them all now…

    Finished Moria, and done the last two relic quests. *whew* Always a bit of a culture shock, switching from one of my speed-demon characters to a poor ol' slowpoke like this. Probably Land of Mountains next, for Trone's coat.
